Article text
All those film crew to take one small scene !!!
A German film crew ( FFP NewMedia GMBH ) descended into the pretty village of Altarnun to film a Rosamunde Pilcher story.
Rosamande Pilcher OBE - born in Lelant, Cornwall - wrote lots of short stories and romance novels between 1949 and 2000. One novel ( The Shell Seekers ) has sold over 5 million copies !
Almost 100 stories of Rosamunde's have been adapted for German TV & has proved very popular. Many of the stories have been filmed in Cornwall & Devon.
Everything is filmed in German with German film crews & German actors and actresses.
This latest story is based a book called "The Brown Field.

There were crowds of film crew and stars & I spent the day taking photos of their work & one is shown here.

Good for Cornwall & good for Altarnun.
